The Spears 1413 series 90-degree PVC elbow fitting is designed with a barbed male insert on one end and male NPT threads on the other end. This fitting allows for a quick and secure connection between rigid pipe and flexible polyethylene tubing at a 90-degree angle. The barbed end facilitates easy and efficient connection to tubing, while the National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads ensure a tight seal, surpassing that of straight threads. Constructed of gray PVC (polyvinyl chloride), this elbow fitting is resistant to chemicals and corrosion, offers high strength, and is lighter in weight compared to metal fittings.

The threaded end of the fitting is compatible with schedule 40 PVC pipes and fittings, making it suitable for use in cold-water pressure distribution systems such as irrigation, pool and spa, potable water, and chilled water applications.
