Authors Stacey Spears and Don Munsil, best known for creating the highly-regarded DVD Player Benchmark and Progressive Scan Shootout at Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity, have utilized their technical expertise to develop this Blu-ray test and evaluation disc. "The static test patterns featured on this disc represent the latest advancements in technology and are more precise compared to previous discs. The intricate details involved in making these patterns as mathematically accurate as possible are crucial, particularly when dealing with lossy encoding.
