The Spears 854-060 schedule 80 glass-filled PVC Class 150 Van Stone flange fitting is designed for joining pipes or connecting valves in a piping system. It features a 6" socket opening for connecting to male pipes or fittings, and the bolt ring on the Van Stone flange rotates independently of the hub to aid in bolt alignment during installation. Made of glass-filled PVC, this flange fitting offers chemical and corrosion resistance, as well as improved strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability over non-reinforced PVC. It is compatible with schedule 80 (thick wall) PVC pipes and fittings, and is suitable for use in a variety of applications including chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, and chemical drainage and wastewater treatment systems.
