The Spears Schedule 40 PVC tee fitting is designed with barbed male inserts on each end, making it ideal for connecting and branching flexible polyethylene tubes. The barbed ends allow for quick and easy connection to flexible tubing. This T-shaped fitting has three openings to connect and branch three tubes, with two on the main run and one branch at a 90-degree angle from the middle of the tee. The dimensions for tees are represented as A x B x C, where "A" and "B" indicate the main run on the fitting, and "C" indicates the branch.

Constructed of gray PVC (polyvinyl chloride), this fitting offers chemical and corrosion resistance, high strength, and less weight than metal fittings. It is compatible with SIDR-PR (standard inside dimension ratios, pressure rated) flexible polyethylene tubing according to ASTM International standard D2239, or standard D2104 schedule 40 polyethylene tubing. The maximum operating temperature for this fitting is 140 degrees F. It meets ASTM International D1784 and D2609 standards for quality assurance and is certified by the National Sanitation Foundation International (NSF) for potable water service.
