Handmade High Carbon Steel Greek Spearhead

The Greek Spearhead was an essential component of the primary weapon used by the Hoplites, heavily armed foot soldiers whose main weapon was the "long shadowed spear." This versatile weapon ranged in length from 6 to 18 feet and could serve as both a spear and pike, with shorter versions also used as throwing weapons. While the earlier models were crafted from bronze, the Greek spearhead later favored iron as the material of choice, once it became readily available. Manufactured by Windlass Steelcrafts, this spearhead was inspired by the typical weapon of the Greeks and is constructed from high carbon steel. It boasts an overall length of 16 inches, a blade length of 11 inches, a blade width of 2.75 inches, and weighs 1 lb. 4 oz. Designed to fit on a 1.25-inch diameter shaft, it does not include a shaft.
